Application of Formaline (Formaldehyde 35%)
For general purpose disinfection, dilute 1 part Formaldehyde in 4 parts water (1:4).
Apply solution to surfaces at 400ml per square metre.
For fogging, you should apply Formaline neat. Spread Formaline at a rate of 10 Litre per 10,000 square feet of floor space, approximately 10,000 square feet.
EXERCISE CAUTION.
After fumigation, do not re-enter the room for at least 2-3 hours.
Always be sure to check the atmospheric levels of formaldehyde.
These should be well below the specified maximum exposure limit (MEL) before you re-enter.
You should be in possession of a Formaldehyde Fumigant Neutraliser before you use Formaline.
For use in footbaths, dilute at the rate of 5% v/v Formaldehyde in water.
Use as required, always exercising caution.
