    Our Delivery & Returns Policy

    We offer nationwide delivery service across the island of Ireland. We can also arrange for international deliveries.

    Delivery Price Zones

    The following delivery charges apply to products being delivered to the Island of Ireland.

    Please contact us on sales@joyce.ie for LOCAL DELIVERY RATES for large items or for any queries regarding deliveries.

    • ONLINE Small Items Delivery Charges only €5
    • ONLINE Exceptions apply to small fragile items €17
    • ONLINE Large Items Delivery Charges Only €55
    • *for multiple pallets prices may vary

    Instore delivery charges vary depending on location within Connacht.

    Please note that all large items are kerbside delivery only.

    When will my order be delivered?

    We normally expect your delivery to arrive to you within 3-10 working days for items in stock, after order is processed. For exceptional cases delivery can take up to 30 days for special orders. We will notify you by email if such a delay is expected to occur. Please note due to Covid19 we cannot provide an ETA.

    We regret at present we cannot deliver on weekends or bank holidays.  Our staff physically checks all goods prior to dispatch from Joyce’s Hardware & Home. A valid signature from your household will be required by a person 18 years or older. You will then become the owner of the items and Joyce’s Hardware & Home will not be liable for their loss or destruction. It your responsibility to check the goods are not damaged upon delivery before signing for same. We ask that all our customers inspect their purchases on delivery/collection on arrival as we are unable to accept claims for breakages, scratches or any damages more than 72 hours after delivery/collection. Complaints will not be accepted after application or installation.

    Joyce Hardware shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated time scales.

    Returns Made Simple

    We hope that you are satisfied with your purchase, however should you need to return a product to us, please refer to the information below:

    ONLINE TERMS

    When you make an online purchase you have a statutory right to return unopened goods (other than special order or customized) up to 14 days after receiving your order, this is known as the cooling off period. (European Directive on Distance Selling). If you wish to change or cancel an order right up until it is dispatched we can facilitate this for you. If you change your mind and want to change or return the goods once you receive them, you can return unopened goods to us and we will then organize a refund following inspection of the goods, excluding delivery costs. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. We are happy to assist you with the return of any items that are unsuitable. Please be aware that all aware that all goods being returned must be in perfect, resalable condition, in the original packaging and with tags attached where applicable. Supplier procedures will be adhered to with regard to service calls, repairs and replacements.

    INSTORE TERMS

    When you make an instore purchase, you can return unopened goods (other than special order or customised) up to 30 days after purchase, with valid receipt and in perfect resell able condition. Goods returned after 14 days will automatically be issued on a Giftcard. Returns will not be accepted after 30 days. We have the right to offer a credit note for a return. Please note all returns will be inspected thoroughly. Goods purchased off a quotation will not be refunded or partially refunded. We are happy to assist you with the return of any items that are unsuitable. Please be aware that all aware that all goods being returned must be in perfect, resalable condition, in the original packaging and with tags attached where applicable. Seasonal items will not be returned once season has ended. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Supplier procedures will be adhered to with regard to service calls, repairs and replacements.

    Exceptions: We are unable to offer a refund or an exchange under this policy on the following items: gift cards, mattresses, pillows, bedding etc. large domestic appliances, kitchen appliances, toilet seats, mixed paint, paint testers, opened paint, special order items, bespoke orders, clearance goods, special ordered items, items purchased on a quotation. In addition, any technology, haircare, Samsung or Apple products etc. purchased with a tamper proof seal cannot be returned once this seal is broken. We cannot refund your purchase if the goods were ordered to your specification, or if the goods are not a stock item. This policy does not affect your legal rights.

    Deposits:

    Deposits will be held for 90 days. Special orders on deposits will not be refunded. If you wish to cancel a deposit of a stocked item, up to 90 days ONLY, you will be issued a credit note. Credit notes will not be issued after 90 days.

    Quotations:

    Quotation prices are only valid for 7 days. Quotations sales will not be refunded.

    Faulty goods

    Prior to returning the goods purchased online by post or courier, please contact sales@joyce.ie who will guide you through our hassle-free returns procedure. This may include a inspection of the goods, and at our discretion, arranging for the goods to be sent for repair, or providing you with a replacement or refund. Goods must be returned within a reasonable timeframe.     Electrical items: will be valid under warranty for specific timeframes subject to presenting a valid receipt. Certain products may require registration with supplier for warranty. Supplier procedures will be adhered to with regard to service calls, repairs and replacements.
