40mm x 25mm composite joists are generally for use in small balcony areas where structural height is not possible. Ventilation and drainage need to be carefully considered when using this joist in a balcony area. This joist cannot be load bearing it must be fully supported. The joists MUST BE PREDRILLED before fixings are screwed to it.
