Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Joyce Hardware, we aim to deliver your products safely, efficiently, and within reasonable timeframes. This policy outlines our delivery areas, charges, and procedures.
1. Delivery Areas & Charges
We currently deliver across the Island of Ireland.
Online Orders

Small Items (DPD Parcel Delivery): €7.99
Suitable for tools, accessories, and other small items. -
Medium Items (DPD Parcel Delivery): €15.00
Suitable for medium-sized items such as pressure washers, barbecues, electric fires, and heaters. -
Local Delivery (Connacht Only): €25.00
Applies to eligible items delivered within the Connacht region. -
Large Items (Pallet Delivery): From €55.00 per pallet
For bulkier items such as building materials, large appliances, and furniture.
Please note: Orders requiring multiple pallets may incur additional charges. We will contact you to confirm final pricing.

2. Delivery Timeframes

In-Stock Items:
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 working days.
Delivery usually takes 2–10 working days, depending on the size, nature of the item, and delivery method. -
Special Orders / Pre-Orders:
Delivery may take up to 30 days. We will notify you if there are any significant delays. -
Unforeseen Delays:
While we make every effort to meet delivery estimates, delays may occur due to factors outside our control (e.g. courier issues, supplier delays, or supply chain disruptions).
Please note: Deliveries are not made on weekends or public holidays.
Courier Responsibility:
Once your order has been dispatched and collected by the courier, responsibility for delivery passes to the courier. However, our team will assist in resolving any delivery issues where possible.
3. Delivery Process & Receiving Your Order
Kerbside Delivery
All large or palletised items are delivered kerbside only, meaning delivery is made to the nearest accessible point at your property.
Drivers are not obligated to bring items inside your home, garage, or garden. Assistance may be provided at the driver’s discretion only where safe and accessible conditions are met, including:
- Minimum access width: 3.0 metres
- Minimum height clearance: 3.0 metres
- Turning space: 4.5 metres (square area)
Inspection on Delivery
- It is your responsibility to inspect goods upon delivery.
- If packaging is visibly damaged, do not sign for the delivery or ensure the damage is clearly noted with the driver.
- A signature from a person aged 18 or over is required. Once signed, the goods are deemed accepted in good condition.
Claims for Damage
- Claims for damage, breakages, or shortages must be reported within 72 hours of delivery or collection.
- Claims may not be accepted after this period.
- We cannot accept claims once an item has been installed or used, unless a manufacturing fault is identified.

Joyce Hardware shall not be held liable for delays or failure to deliver within estimated timeframes due to circumstances beyond our control. -
Address Accuracy:
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. We are not liable for delays or losses resulting from incorrect information. -
Stock Availability:
All delivery timeframes are subject to stock availability. If an item becomes unavailable, we will contact you to arrange an alternative or refund.
