10m² roll of 3mm high quality, physically cross-linked polyolefin foam underlay. Ideally suited to heavy domestic applications. Provides a vapour barrier when used with waterproof jointing tape and laid in accordance with fitting instructions. Suitable for use with sub-floor embedded, and surface underfloor heating (operating temperature -50 to 100°C). Always read and follow the guidelines supplied with the underfloor heating system and/or floor to be fitted. Acoustalay should be used as an insulating/spot levelling layer between the floor to be laid and the sub-floor.

This is a heavy duty silver-lined and rubber-backed underlay. The rolls are 1m x 10m x 3mm. This impact sound resistant underlay will suit upstairs areas or apartments. An added silver-foiled back helps to provide slight thermal qualities. This underlay is not suitable for underfloor heating.

Tuplex is a premium quality acoustic underlay for use under floating floors – it is certified to reduce impact noise by approximately 20dB. It has a moisture and vapour barrier and so can be used over concrete (with a moisture content of 5% or lower) without visqueen or builders plastic. Roll size 10 sqm. Tuplex is a new generation underlay for hard flooring. It can be used underneath laminate floors as well as veneered and all engineered hardwood and coniferous floating floors. It is a versatile product that meets all the requirements associated with installing and using a hard floor.
